Hotel Arenas Del Mar

The Arenas Del Mar as it is now known was re-opened in June 2008 after extensive refurbishment. Located to the north of Cabezo beach it boasts 155 rooms, providing all the amenities you would expect from a four star hotel, including two swimming pools, a jacuzzi, sauna and Spa, its own mini-market, bar and WiFi area. Hotel Médano

Situated in the centre of town overlooking the main beach, Hotel Médano is a well maintained three star hotel, providing the perfect retreat of comfort and relaxation after a day on the water. With half-board catering included in the price, and being only a short five-minute walk from the centre, it will be the popular choice for many. Hotel Playa Sur

Located at the end of the South Bay, right by the centre, Hotel Playa Sur is a family run hotel offering accommodation with a personal touch. The Carel is situated on the right hand side of the main road as you enter the town. It offers a variety of room sizes to suit most and is the more popular choice for those travelling on a budget, offering modest yet comfortable accommodation.

Sandy and Joost Van Paassen

Sandy and Joost are good friends here in El Médano and own an apartment for rent. It has three bedrooms, suitable for a maximum of five persons. One bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds and one bedroom upstairs with a single bed. The bathroom has a shower/bath and a toilet. The kitchen is fully furnished with dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer. Upstairs there's a terrace of 60sqm with fantastic views to the sea, Montaña Roja and Pico Del Teide. Nigel is a friend here in El Médano and is renting his one-bedroom flat. Located in the Balancon complex, it has a patio and lawn in front, only bettered by its fantastic view down to the launch area at El Cabezo Beach. Small but perfectly formed, it comes with the use of a cummunal swimming pool and will sleep up to four in comfort. The price is €40.00 per night. Steve Sykes

Steve is a good friend who has a smart three bedroom duplex for rent on Calle Uruguay, the road leading down to Medano's famous wave break Cabezo. It has a bathroom upstairs, toilet downstairs, two lounges, a dining area, terrace and fully equiped kitchen. It can easily sleep five people, and the price is a stunning 70EUR per night for 5 sharing, or another 10EUR per night per additional person.

Duda Radjen

Villa Aguilas is a quiet family place on the coast. It is a semi-detached fully refurbished villa that has been recently furnished to a high standard throughout.The ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a really big diner, the lounge has two 3-seater sofas, large flat-screen TV with satellite, including English, Spanish and Italian TV. The campsite in La Tejita is only a short 10-minute walk from the centre and with its modern facilities and amenities caters for both tents and caravans. Tents are available to rent on site unless you prefer to bring your own and the backdrop of Montaña Roja is one of the best views in the area.
